Short answer: GoHighLevel pricing starts at $97 a month (Starter), $297 a month (Unlimited) or $497 a month (Agency Pro), or 10x the monthly price if you pay yearly. That is before AI. Voice AI and Conversation AI are billed per use, or through the AI Employee add-on at $50 or $97 a month per sub-account, and phone calls are charged separately on top of either.
I ran my AI agency on GoHighLevel on the way past $50K a month, so I have paid these bills, not just read the pricing page. The plan price was never the problem. The problem was everything it took to make GoHighLevel do the AI work my clients were paying for. This post walks through the real number, line by line.
Every price below comes from GoHighLevel's own pricing page and its AI pricing help article, both checked on 15 October 2026.
The three GoHighLevel plans
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $97 | $970 | One business, or an agency with a few sub-accounts |
| Unlimited | $297 | $2,970 | Agencies that need unlimited sub-accounts |
| Agency Pro | $497 | $4,970 | Agencies reselling GoHighLevel as their own software (SaaS mode) |
There is also an Enterprise tier with no public price.
Most agencies end up on Unlimited, because Starter's sub-account cap runs out fast once you have real clients. That is where the $297 a month figure comes from.
What Voice AI costs on GoHighLevel
This is the line that surprises people. GoHighLevel's AI is not included in the plan price. You pick one of three ways to pay for it, per sub-account.
Option 1: pay per use
Voice AI is billed in three parts:
- Voice engine: $0.045 a minute (the rate since 20 May 2026).
- Text-to-speech: from $0.015 a minute (OpenAI or Cartesia voices) up to $0.170 a minute (ElevenLabs V3).
- The language model: billed per token at the model's API rate.
GoHighLevel's own example: a 10-minute call with OpenAI voices costs $0.60 before model tokens and phone charges.
Option 2: AI Employee Growth, $50 a month per sub-account
Includes 1,000 Conversation AI responses and 100 Voice AI minutes a month (inbound, outbound and widget combined). Anything over that is billed at the pay-per-use rates.
Option 3: AI Employee Unlimited, $97 a month per sub-account
Unlimited Conversation AI and Voice AI, subject to fair use. Agent Studio is excluded and billed per use.
And then the phone bill
On every option, phone system charges still apply to every call. The AI minute price is the AI. The minute on the phone line is a separate charge.
Why the per sub-account part matters for agencies
The AI Employee add-on is priced per sub-account, not per agency. If you run AI for 20 clients on AI Employee Unlimited, that is 20 x $97 = $1,940 a month in AI add-ons, on top of your $297 or $497 plan, and before phone usage. You can rebill it, and most agencies do, but it is still cash out the door every month and a line you have to explain to every client.
AI Employee Unlimited add-on, per month, by number of client sub-accounts
- 1 client$97
- 5 clients$485
- 10 clients$970
- 20 clients$1,940
What three agency sizes actually pay
Putting the plan and the AI add-on together, before phone usage and model tokens:
| Agency size | Plan | AI Employee Unlimited | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Just starting, 1 client on AI | Starter $97 | 1 x $97 | $194 |
| Growing, 10 clients on AI | Unlimited $297 | 10 x $97 | $1,267 |
| Reselling as SaaS, 30 clients on AI | Agency Pro $497 | 30 x $97 | $3,407 |
GoHighLevel plan plus AI Employee Unlimited, per month
- 1 client$194
- 10 clients$1,267
- 30 clients$3,407
Most agencies rebill some or all of this to clients, so the real question is margin, not total. But the cash leaves your account every month either way, and phone usage sits on top of every line.
Is GoHighLevel too expensive?
For a marketing agency selling funnels, ads and CRM setup, usually not: the plan replaces several tools and the AI add-on is optional. It starts to feel expensive in three situations:
- You sell AI to most of your clients, so the per-sub-account AI add-on multiplies.
- You still pay for a separate voice platform, notetaker or automation tool on top, because GoHighLevel's version does not fit your offer.
- You pay for Agency Pro for SaaS mode but resell to only a handful of clients.
If one of those is you, either cut the stack (see below) or compare the whole bill, not just the plan, against a platform that includes the pieces you are paying for twice.
The tools you bolt on
This is where my real bill lived. GoHighLevel handled the CRM, pipeline, funnels and automations. The rest of what my clients needed came from other tools, each with its own login, contact list and invoice. Here is the typical lineup:
| What you need | Typical tool | Public price (checked October 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| CRM, funnels, automations | GoHighLevel Unlimited | $297 a month |
| Voice AI agents | Vapi | $0.05 a minute platform fee, plus speech, model and phone costs per minute |
| Meeting notes and call scoring | Fireflies | $10 to $39 per seat a month |
| Instagram comment-to-DM | ManyChat | Pro plan, priced by contact count |
| Cold email | Instantly | From $47 a month, lead credits extra |
| Glue between all of it | n8n and Zapier | Zapier from $19.99 a month |
I am not going to add those up into one big headline number. Voice and automation are billed by usage, and the total depends on your volume. But you can see the shape of it: the GoHighLevel plan was the smallest part of what it actually cost to run AI for clients, and the glue between tools was the part that broke.
Where StrideOps fits
I built StrideOps because that stack was people and duct tape. It has the CRM, pipeline, workflows, funnels and calendars GoHighLevel has, with AI voice agents, AI text agents, a meeting notetaker, Instagram comment-to-DM and cold email built in, all writing to the same contact record.
| Plan | Monthly | Usage credits included |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | $99 | $10 a month |
| Growth | $299 | $50 a month |
| Agency (white-label, client rebilling) | $599 | $150 a month |
The typical stitched stack
Separate logins, contact lists and invoices
GoHighLevel Unlimited$297/mo
Vapi$0.05/min + usage
Fireflies$10 to $39/seat
ManyChatBy contacts
InstantlyFrom $47/mo
n8n or ZapierZapier from $19.99
Voice and automation bill by usage, so the real total depends on your volume.
StrideOps Growth
One contact record for every channel
- CRM, pipelines, workflows, funnels and calendars
- AI voice agents and AI text agents
- Meeting notetaker that scores sales calls
- Instagram comment-to-DM
- Cold email with warmup
- $50 of usage credits a month included
AI calls are metered against usage credits, pay as you go after that.
To be straight about how AI is billed: StrideOps voice is not free either. Calls are metered against your usage credits, based on the real cost of each call, and you pay as you go once the included credits run out. The difference is that you are not paying a separate monthly AI add-on per client on top of the plan, and you are not paying for the other tools to sit around it.
The comparison that matters: GoHighLevel's middle plan is $297 a month before you add a voice AI tool, a notetaker, a comment-to-DM tool and a cold email tool. StrideOps Growth is $299 a month with those built in. See every plan's limits, or tick the tools you pay for today in the stack calculator.
How to cut your GoHighLevel bill without switching
If you are staying on GoHighLevel, three things lower the number:
- Match the AI plan to real usage. If a sub-account uses fewer than 100 voice minutes a month, the $50 Growth add-on or pay-per-use beats $97 Unlimited.
- Pick the voice deliberately. ElevenLabs V3 is more than 10x the per-minute text-to-speech cost of OpenAI or Cartesia voices on GoHighLevel. Use premium voices only where callers will notice.
- Set AI usage limits per sub-account, so one client's runaway campaign does not become your bill.
FAQ
How much is GoHighLevel SaaS mode?
SaaS mode, which lets you resell GoHighLevel as your own software with rebilling, is on the Agency Pro plan at $497 a month, as of October 2026.
Does GoHighLevel charge per user?
The three plans are priced per account, not per user, but AI add-ons are priced per sub-account and phone and messaging usage is billed on top.
The bottom line
GoHighLevel's plan price is honest: $97, $297 or $497. What it does not show is the AI add-on per client, the phone usage under every call, and the separate tools you need for the AI work clients are actually buying. Price the whole stack, not the plan. If the whole stack is what you are paying for, it is worth seeing it on one platform.
